Archbishop and food Banks

I wasn’t doing a post this week, but  Johnny Void’s blog on Food banks and the church compels me. He’s right, but it makes the Citizens’ Basic Income even more urgent. Johnny Void points out that organizing food banks through charities is really helping Iain Duncan Smith to do his dirty work. Please tweet Johnny Void’s latest post to the oil magnate now Archbishop of Canterbury, and his No.2 in York.

You could send them my blog address as well. Johnny Void says give to individual beggars, not to any organization. I agree, but even better will (not would) be a society with a community ethos which took it for granted that nobody should need to beg.
